It is nothing in the form of a sensa-
tion f ir Jodie Foster to pitch a shut out
game, having three to his credit for last
season, and presenting the first team he
has faced this season with a setting of
goose eggs. He pitched a magnificent
game, only allowing the visitors two
hits in the nine innings, while the sup-
port given him was superb, not an error
being charged to the account of the
Bastrop boys. Not until the ninth
inning did a visitor reach third, when,
with two men out, l.oomas hit a pop-up
to Frw in, all w as over, and Jodie bangs
another shut out to hi* t elt.
