We, the Democrats of Bastrop county

We favor the election "f U. S. Sen-

We endorse tho administration of all
our State Officials as IwinK able, wise
and economical. We are especially
gratified with tho four years administra-
tion of our fellow citizen, Governor Jos.
D. Sayers. Under h's administration j
this gp-at state has prospered as never I
before, and we can but hope that his
successors will be as successful in the
adminiutration of staio affnirs as he has
been.
The constitutional amendment sub-
mitted by the last Legislature to bo
voted on at the general election in
November, making a poll tax roceipt a
prerequslte to suffrage, has our hearty
endorsement and wc urge the democrats
of Bastrop county, :ind of tho entire
state, to use all proper moans to secure
its adoption.
We favor the enactment by the n< xi WACO, 8. A. 6 A. P. and SOU. PAC.,
Legislature of a law to govern primary j AN(J TQ

the statute now governing general elec-

We reiterate and re-endorse the reso-

against more than two terms for county
