City of Bastrop by adding to
said title an Article to be known
as Article 154A.
Be it ordained by the City
Council of the City of Bastrop:
T hat Title IV of the Revised
Ordinances of this city be amend
ed by adding thereto an Article
to be known as Article 154a.
Article l.r>4a. No obstructions
of any kind of such a character
as is calculated to delay, hinder
or in any manner inconvenience
the traveling public, shall be
placed in or upon any street,
side walk or alley, within this
city : and any person who shall

Advertiser that the City Council
of the City of Bastrop at its reg-
ular meeting to be held at the
Mayors office in this City on
Sept. 5th, 1010, will recei/e seal-
ed proposals for the custody of
the funds of said City from Sept.
9th, 1910 to the regular meeting
of the Council, in July 1011, from
any banking Corporation. Asso-
ciation or individual banker do
ing business within said City, and
that any banking Corporation,
Association or individual banker!
desiring to bid for the custody of
said funds, shall deliver to the
City Sec'ty on or before the day
of said meeting a sealed proposal
.stating the rate of per cent upon
daily balances that will be paid
to said City, and that the success-
ful bidder shall give the bond as
required by law, and that the
Council reserves the right to re-
ject any and all bids.
The City Sec'ty was instructed
to collect from the City Deposi-
tory one year's interest when
due, on daily balances.
