parents and friends of her musi-
cal class to an unusually enter-
taining program Wednesday

party of fishermen, without any
notice whatever to their friends
and associates, mysteriously left
town for unknown parts to par-
ticipate in a secret and myster-
ious fishing trip. W. B. Ran-
some, vice-president of the First
National Bank, together with
Ernest Harler, seem to have
been the main conspirators in
the plot. The party has re-
turned and have refused to talk
to their most intimate friends.
Even to the regulariv constitu-
ted officials of the ANCIENT
ORDER OF UNITED FISHER-
MEN. However, those who are
acquainted with the fraternity
can read in the countenances and
thru the physical marks the ef-
fects of a real fishing trip with
all of the attended pleasures and
delicacies that go with a trip of
this kind. These men have been
placed under suspended sentence
by their fellow associates for ten
days and unless they see fit to
produce such evidence as will
throw light on their recent ma-
nuvers they will be given the
third degree, a full account of
which wil be given to the public.
