Plaintiffs, and Mattie Royston, a
feme sole, Independent Executrix of
the Estate of Ed. Royston. deceased,
and of Mattie Royston, individually,
Bessie Johnson and her husband Le-
wis Johnson, Velma McGinnis and
her husband, Norman McGinnis, Julia
Belle Neal, a feme sole, if she be a
feme sole, and her hushand if anv
she has, John Henry Royston, Ed.
Royston, Jr., and Walter Royston, are
defendants,
And for cause of action Plaintiffs
represent to the Court that on Jan-
uary 2«th, 190«, Ed. Royston, who
was then in life, made, and executed
and delivered to The First National
Bank of Bastrop his three certain
promissory notes, bearing date on
such day and year, numbered :i, 4, and
5, each in the sum of ONE lU'NDHED
TWENTY ONE DOLLARS TWENTY
SEVEN CENTS ($121.27) each, pay-
able to The First National Bank of
Bastrop or order on or before Three
years after date, Four years after
date and on ov before Five years af-
ter date, each respectively and there,
by promised to pay to said Hank or
its order the sums of money in said
notes specified with interest thereon
from January 1st. l'.'Ott at the

notes provided that all past due in-
terest thereon should bear interest
from the maturity thereof until paid
and which notes further provided that
failure to pay any one of said notes,
or any installment of interest thereon

S. 45 W. with line between the Po-
well and Price tract to the E. line of
the M. K. & T. Ry. of Texas, right-
ofway; thence in a northerly direc-
tion with the line of said right-of-way
to a point from which a line runs N
45 E. to the river and thence down
the river to the place of beginning

1923 W. A. McCord assigned and
transferred to Mrs. Earl C. Erhard
all of the above described notes and
the liens securing the same, so that
j she thereby became the owner and
holder of said notes and said liens and
is now the owner and holder of said
notes and said liens.
That all of said notes and the liens
securing the same have been kept a-
live and in date, and are now alive
and in date, by reason of various re-
newals thereof in writing, signed by
Ed. Royston and duly recorded in the
rite' ',( r<' ('f Bastrop County, Tex-
as; that on the 13th day of Septem-
ber 1929 the said Ed. Royston execut-
ed and delivered to the Plaintiff, Mis.
Earl C. Erhard a written renewal of
-aid notes and an extension of the

was due on said notes principal and
interest the sum of TWFNTY-
FHREE HUNDRED SIXTY FIVE
DOLLARS AND SIXTY FIVE
CENTS, which said sum the said

ledged to be just, owing, past due
and unpaid, and agreed and promised
to pay all of said notes with accrued

| order at the town of Bastrop, Texas,

I sum from that date at the rate of ten
'per cent per annum, the interest pay-

Mattie Royston was named and ap-
pointed Independent Executrix of
the Estate of the said Ed. Roysfrtn;

of said Will the hereinabove mention-
ed and described Fifty acres tract
of land oast to Mattie Royston. de-
fendant herein during the term of
her naturnl life, and provided that

ed all of said notes due and said
notes with all interest thereon since
January 21, 1932 is past due and un-
paid.

after a lingering illness. Mrs. Stagner
was born November [>, 1S65 in Bas.
top county. Her parents were Mr.
and Mrs. Isaac Holman. She married
J. W. Stagner September 30, 18s7.
Mrs. Stagner was buried June 10 at 4
p. m. at McDade. Services were con-
ducted by Mr. Luther Norman of
Austin. The deceased is survived by
her husband, J. W. Stagner, one sis-
ter, Mrs. C. Chalmers, Bastrop, and
one brother, Mr O. W. Holman, Co-
tulla; and seven children. Misses
Mary and Pauline Stagner, Messrs.
Horace, Gilbert and Will Stagner. and
Mrs. John C. Sanders. McDade, and
Mr Wallace Stagner. Houston. P;;l!
bearei- were four grandsons, Thurs-
ton, Mollis and Kentric Stagner and
Odell Sanders. Mrs. Stagner was a
member of the Church of Christ.
Friends and relatives attended the
funeral from all the surrounding
towns and from Houston anr| Austin
and San Antonio.

R. F. Wilson. Mrs. Wolf -erved ice

kel had finished demonstrating.
