Last week for the second time i went to the
Theatre, the play was the Man Of the World, and the
after peace the Forty Thiefs, i was charmed; it Is
impossible far me to write half the extacy I felt.
i expect my feelings were what I have often heard
you say yours were, the first time you entered a Thi-
reater, the the first time 1 went the tragedy of ^e-
zarra was performed, i was very much entertained, and
pleased with that, but still more with the Forty Thiefs,
the scenery surpasses all description, 0^ it was superbe,
how i wished, that My Dear rarents and Brother could have
been of the party. Cousin Ann and John went with us; the
first time, i had the pleasure of Cousin Henry's company—
Uhrismas will soon be here, and i shall spend
it many hundred, miles from my friends. 01 if I could
but take wings and fly to your arms: Dine with you, and
all my Dear friends and relatives, but it cannot be, and
why should i wfsh for what cannot be realized; Remember
me affectionately to all inquiring Friends tell them
i wish them all happy Chrismas and New Yenr and that
1 hope they will think of their absent friends.
Miss Hall gives a week holaday, I expect to

spend it at M Meg&s, and M. Bunner's
1 must now bid my dear papa Adieu, for I ex-
pect his patience is nearly exhausted with reading my
