M? Battiy has purchased the twelve acre lot
from D?? Knuckols and If You have made no arrangement

previous I wish to take the amy in work from Battl/
he is anxious to get back as far as M? Wes-
talls line and is willing to pay in work—I am dnxious
to get a small frame house put up and if you conclude
to let him have more than the twelve acres—I shauld
like to borrow the amt tho' were I in Your place one
foot should not go under five and from that to 10 dol-
lars an acre. I am uneasy about my mare. She has not
returned to the Gin place, and I wish you to advertise
her as I am fearful she is stolen.
Should the money fromDe Leon have arrived
unless you want to use it yourself send it down by MS
