George H. is very poor, and has several of the Children with
him, and is doing the best he can for them; I have been think-
ing, if ** should move next Faul, that I would take the two
youngest Girls, (Clarissa and Caroline,) on with me, ny own
Family is very large; but I am willing to do all I can for
them, and if James should like the Country, and becoi* settled
they might do better than they ever can, in this Country. I
wish you to converce with James, and find out from him, the
Situation of his Family, and write me word what you think of
it; wheather I had best bring on the Girls or not, perhaps
our Sistar or John Austin would take one of them;—poor
Bliza is compleatly broke down, with hard work, j^he is so
alter'd that you would hardly know her, her health is very
bad, Maria lives with her; Margazet has been living at
Samuel Perrys for the last three years,—Rember me affection-
ately to our Dear Sister, tell her she must excuse my not
writing to her by Mr %erry; I shall answer her kind letter
very shortly; and she must consider part of this as intended
for her—I send a dozen kisses to my Dear Nephew, and long
to see the dear little Fellow; my Son Stephen, tells every
body that comes to the house that he is going to Texas to
live with his Uncle, for that he has got a little Pony for
him to ride on, he is ging to School--Adieu may God preserve
