It would be very gratifying to me to see so many of T&e old
friends as you speake of in Texas and I you all would improve
your conditions in a pecuniary point of view but you would hrvc to
encounter many hardships privations and Kxpence it would take some
time before you could expect to be an comfortable situated as you arexx<
there is good oportunity for industrious and interprising people here
but I could not nor w >uld advise any of my Friends to axsmaK remove
here without first coming and seeing for themselves, It is a serious
undertaking for a person to Break up ^ nd remove a famely so far to
a new country and a differentxziim element from one which they have
been nccuntomed to, and before y^u come to any determination I would
advise you by all means to cone and see it first you can make the
trip in two or three months.
