Spring Is Theme
Of USO Dance
Wednesday Night
Approximately three hundred
service fnen and GSO --hostesses
attended the "First Day of Spring"
dance held Wednesday night in
the social room .of the USO club.
Mrs. Lee K. Mitchell was chair-
man of the committee in charge.
George Curtsinger's orchestra pro-
vided the music.
Flower arrangements and other
decorations were under supervis-
sioh of Misses Alicia, Mary Ellen
and Jane Tilley. Kites* of pastel
colors were arranged about the
walla and ceiling. The refresh-
ment table'fcas covered with a
white cloth with a multicolored
ruffle around thrc sides. A'bou-
quet of spring flowers was the
centerpiece which was flanked by
candles of pastel colors encircled
with fern. Cake with pastel
frosting was served with punch.

vice men, service women and
