6 Sculpture Garden Opening
The Sculpture Garden of the neu, douwntoun Museum will open to the
public on October 10. DMA members are invited to participate in the noon
ceremony
11 Tokugawa Visits Dallas
}bshinobu Tokugawa visited Dallas in late/ ul, to inspect the new Museum
facility and to announce that Dallas would host the international Shogun
Age Exhibition next spring.

Prior to moving into the neu, Museum, the DMFA is holding a Moring Sale
in the Fair Park building on November 19. In addition to furniture,
accessories, and shop merchandise, sale items will include deaccessioned
art uorks approved by the Museums staff and board members. The sale will
be conducted by, Butterfields Auction House of San Francisco.
