The t-'reshmcn baaket baii team,
coached by Coach Cawthon. was a
great aucceesa aa far as "games won
and games tost" are concerned, and
in preparing for a victorious Varsity
team for next year. Each matt that
went out for the team deveioped into
a good basket ringer, if he was not ai-
ready one. Many afternoons were
apent in the gymnasium, with Coach
f'awthoti and Captain Witiis working
with the men. and after a few weeks
of practice there was deveioped a
team capabie of winning games from
any team of its eattbre in the South.
