The Champs, captained by Dwigbt
Austin and tbe All Stars led by
Jimmy Carroll, are fighting it out
for second place in the percent-
age column. The thousand per cent
position is now being occupied by the
Foreigners, whose captain is VIrgll
Dison.
The Rarin' Five, under the leader-
ship of "Fuzzy" Carlyle, last year star
on the Freshman team, has not yet
played a game, but as their name
implies, are ready for battle.
The Foreigners have a galaxy of
stars in their quintet. Captain Dick-
son, Martlnkus, freshman bootball
star: Connell, also on the Freshman
squad, and Koch, all have an eagle
eye for the net as well as being able
to scorch the hardwood with speed.
In Last Week's Game*
The Foreigners defeated the
Champs 27 to 9, and the Champs in
turn beat the All Stars, 18 to 13.

Barry Talbot read nu excellent
short atody and a one-act murder
mystery. The story, "Hooks and

well received. The murder mystery,
too, was well done with the excep-

door, and the detective who entered
and lighted a cigarette.
Orin Johnson read a short story
concerning a pasisonate Spanish he-
roine. As In the case of Mr. Drake's

What's the use of getting the
good suit pressed for a date if
the rain is going to make it
look like a wet sack before
you arrive? None whatever.
But if you put on your Pish
Brand Slicker your clothes
look precisely as well when
you get there as when you start.
A real Fish Brand Slicker is
good-looking too. It has set
the campus style for years.
And it will stand any amount
of wear and rough usage. Look
for the Fish Brand label.
