A CHALLENGE
iHiiiiiiuiKiitiniiiiiiiiaiiiiiiiiumuuuiiuiiiiiiiiiiiiuiuiuuHiiutiutuiuiiiHtiiiiiii
" . . and remember this, Old Mas
—there are more and more alumni en-
gineers coming to the show this year.
If your gang doesn't come through,
they will be told about it, you can bet
your last dollar!"
The above Is a challenge which a
graduate of 1928 and a big gun in the
last Engineering Show sends back to
us.
Truly the old grails are looking to
us to put on a better show than any
before. We will expect the same two
years from now from those who will
he entrusted with the taslu the pres-
ent freshmen and sophomore classes.
Fellows, are we going to meet this
challenge, be able to face tbe old
grads on the eighteenth of April,
knowing that the bixth show is the
best yet?
It we are, now is the time to start
with eveiy drop of energy la our
bodies, with every Idea that we have
and with every bit of will power that
we can muster to carry tbe show
"over the top" with a bang!
I am depending on each and every
one of you to help meet the challenge
flung to us.

A STANDING MATTER
The draftsman laid a package be- i
tore the tailor. "I've brought a pair
of trousers back to be reseated. You
know I sit a lot."
"Fine," replied the tailor. ' And I
hope you have brought the original
bill to be receipted too. You know
I've stood a lot." The Safe Worker.
