While we are firm believers in the co-edugational system, we
must admit that a strii$$Pboys school has it all over the co-edtica-
tional institutions when it comes to meeting and making persons
contacts with fellow students.
Take A. and M- for example. The moment a freshman enrolls
punishment is inflicted upon the slime who cannot, call the name of
one of his sophomore "brothers."
While such a system could probably not be adopted successfully
at Rice, students here should cultivate more friendly attitude
toward their classmates.
