would join just for the sheer pleasure
derived from sticking one's neck out.
Next week we'll check and see what
the batting average was. if its high
enough we'll publish the report.

Specrllinc Vacumatic. A princely
new model of the Pen that doer,
what no other pen can do.
Here's a new all-time high in ink
capacity, yet size reduced to a
slender, rest ful Speedline.
A Pen that shows the ENTIRE
ink supply—shows when to refill
---hence one that never runs dry
in classes or exams.
The world's smartest style—
Parker's exclusive laminated Pearl
and Jet—wholly original.
And not merely modern in style,
I but modern also in mechanism. Its
revolutionary SACLESS Dia-
phragm Filler radically departs
from earlier types, whether they
have a rubber ink sac or not. A
patented invention—GUARAN-

Grace Ellen Mclntyre: The Owls are
favored to cop this race; This charac-

you see her. •
Mildred Hargrove: an Owl if ever
did we see one. She has one of the
best personalities around. Funny .be-
cause she's so confused.
Leah Powell; it looks as if the Pals
are going to cop this cute biondie but
the E. B.'s or; the Owls might either
boat them out. In other words we don't
know.
Marjorle Bogar: another cute
character that's oh, her way to being
ar. Owl.
Flora Jackson; we have uncon-
sciously neglected Flora this week and
.we 'apologize. She is one of the best
looking freshmen of the crop and can
dance well to boot. She is also due to
climb on the bandwagon of the Owls

sight is worse than usual.
Harriet Crienod: due to pledge Pals.
Maybe the influence of living across
the streets front the Weisers had some-
thing* to do with that.
Judy Biossat: a fille with an inter-
esting personality who probably will
go E. B.
