Office Holders
Not long ago elections were held to elect students to fulfill
class offices, offices in student government and publication of-
fices. Each one a position of honor, importance and responsibili-
ty.
'
For all those who won, the excitement of winning is now
past and they have found that there is a little more to holding
an office than that which first met the eye. They have found
that there is a great deal of responsibility and a certain amount
of work to be done.
It would do each individual, who won in the election, well to
stop a moment and take stock of himself in respect to the office
he now holds. He must remember that he was chosen not to oc-
cupy his position as a mere figure-head but to function in his
capacity to the best of his ability.
They must remember that the student body is as good as its
student leaders are and its student leaders are those chosen by
fellow students to represent them and fulfill the necessary of-
fices of student government.
