Wh at is it for—This Wood's Hair Restoiutivk:'—Is a
question asked daily by hundreds. We answer without
hesitation or.fcar of contradict ion, that it is the only ar-
ticle known which will do all it promise* for the human
hair. It will renew its growth—it will stop Its falling—it
will restore its natural color! 11 Is not a hair dye, but a
speedy and efficacious Restorative.

A Chance to Educate your Childreu.
■ ? Mr. James A Bo linger,
LATE of Kentucky, respectfully informs the
citizens of Houston, that his school is now
established on a permanent basis at the Masonic
Hall, near the Presbyterian Chuch. Mr. B. having
had seven years experience in teaching, in some
of the best institutions of Kentucky and Tennebsee
is fully competent to instruct in every department
The government in this Institution wi*l be mild,
though firm, decisive and uniform. Hnrshnessand
severity will be always avoided. Strict order,
prompt obedience, and constant industry will be
required as the only means of securing the ends of
the Teachers or fulfilling the hopes of the patrons.
The morals and depoA-tment of the pupils will be
especially cared for, and carefully guarded. Thor-
oughness in all the departments ef an academical
education is kept in view—scholars will be taught
to think a^nd to rely upon their owd efforts for suc-
cess. A daily record of the behavior and recita-
tions of the scholars will be kept, and a monthly
report sent to their parents, or guardians. But while
a spirit of emulation is thu^excited, higher motives
to diligence ar& presented, by appeals to the under-
standings and consciences of the pupils, as moral
and accountable beings. Strict attention paid to
the physical fcs well as the moral and intellectual
training of the pupils.
The regular course of instruction in this Institu-
tion wiU include a Primary Department, a Junior,
a Middle and a Senior class. The studies of each
of the classes will occupy one year. ^
