THE METHODIST CHURCH
Those that missed the services last
Sunday have no idea of the gre-it
blessing that you let go by. The wor-
ship of God does not consist of what
the preacher says. That is often the
very smallest part of the worship ser-
vice. Never was the church more
beautiful. The great number of beau-
tiful flowers that God let grow that
they might bring joy to the hearts °f
His childien, and they all so lieau'.i.
fully arranged, each piece as if it
had been purposely grown for that
particular place it occupied, were in-
deed things of beauty. The morning
was perfect for Worship. The music-
was a*- if God had spnt it down from
Heaven itself. How a christian can
find himself content anywhere else
on Sunday mornir.g than in God's
bouse and with God's people is indeed
hard to understand. Can you really
feel satisfied on the river, or the golf
course, or the highway, or in the
store, or after tht. cattle, when you
know that there s a worship service
going on at your church? Think it
over.
