JEEP CLASSIFIED
AS TRUCK
Classification of the army jeep,
now being manufactured for civi-
lian use, as a tru k and not a pass-
enger car, was announced tt>day
by John G. Ross district manager
of the Office of Defense Trans-
portation at San Antonio.
In other words, unless buyers
are eligible for a certificate to
purchase a new truck, they will
be unable to buy one of the new
civiliar. jeeps. The new civilian
vehicle was classified as a truck
because it is essentially a property
carrying vehicle, the ODT official
explained.
Allocation of the n-w vehicle
will be limited to persons contrib-
uting directly or indirectly to the
prosecution of the war. Those
eligible include farmers.
These restrictions do not apply
to surplus miliary jeerfs sold
through the surplus property
board.

Plaintiff's Petition filed in said
Court, on the 7th day of August
A ,D. 1946, in this cause, numbered
"Where's all the Coke gone, anyway?"
It's a question a lot of people are asking
these days, all over the U. S. A. And the
answer is: there's a world- wide sugar short*
age, caused by the world-wide disorder and
confusion that goes along with war.
Sugar shortage means Coke shortage be-
cause Coca-Cola never compromises with
quality. Today, yesterday, tomorrow-
Coca-Cola means Coca-Cola, the fame
quality as always.
So you see, nobody is to blame—least of
all your dealer. H« doesn't like the Coke
shortage any better than you do! So will
you remember, please—if you don't get
your Coca-Cola today, to ask for it again
tomorrow?
