NOW ON DISPLAY
The new 1950 Ford truck models
are now being displayed by Ford
dealers in all parts of the country,
J. D. Ball, manager truck and
fleet sales department. Ford Di-
vision. Ford Motor Componv, an-
nounced today.
The 1950 line, Mr. Ball said, of-
fers more than 175 models, a con-
siderable increase over the 1949
line-up, representing the largest
-election of trucks in Ford his-
tory.
Featured in fthe 1^50 model
trucks are 21 engineering, design
and manufacturing advancements
contributing to more efficient, ec-
onomical performance and lower
maintenance co-t.-.
Special attention has been paid
to engineering improvements con-
tributing to longer lif \
The 1950 models are powered
by the 22'i cubic inch, 95 horse-
power six cylinder Ford truck
engine; the 239 cubic inch 100
horsepower V-K; the 337 cubic
inch 145 horsepower V-8 and a
recently developed J">4 cubic inch
110 horsepower six. This engine
used in the F-6 series is the most
powerful six-cylinder engine ever
built by Ford.
The F-7 and F-8 series have a
double channel frame for adequate
support of the heaviest loads.
A new heavy duty three-speed
synchro-s'lent transmission is op-
tional for series F-l through F-.'i.
Gross vehicle weight ratings for
the 1950 line range from 4,700
pounds in the F-l to 22,000 pounds
in the F-8 straight truck and 39,-
000 pounds when used with trac-
tor and trailer.

elected Treasurer. Mr. Cyril Mc-
(lilvray was elected chairman of
the "One World in Christ" cam-
paign.

sociate Members of the Vestry
for 1950.
Our especial thanks go to re-
tiring Vestrymen Mr. R. H. Brieg-

Livestock Exposition, February
17-26. Eugene Grohman has also
entered the open class with one

Inaugurating the new
Joe Freeman Coliseum, the terri-
torial show will be complete with
livestock exhibits and auction,
Colborn's world championship ro-
deo, carnival midway and commer-
cial exhibits.
Over $46,000 in premiums and
special awards have been lifted
for winning stock entries. Unof-
ficial figures show over 2900 en
tries in the open and boys' shows.
Everett ( olborn, veteran rodeo
producer, is bringing his world
championship rodeo direct from
Madison Square Garden for four-
teen performances including four
matinees. Top notch professional
cowboys will compete for over
$80,0(10 in prize money.
The Dun Franklin Show-, rated
as one of the major carnival- in
the Southwest, will operate dur-
ing the ten day event with new
rides and shows.
