Bastrop Cub Scouts met in a
group for their pack meeting on
Monday night of this week in
the Agriculture building, with
Cubmaster Ellis Christie in
charge.
Each person registered as he
entered, and guessed how many
beans were in the jar. Mrs.
Cecil I.on and Scoutmaster W.
R. Kesselu received miniature
turkeys for first and second
prizes in this contest.
The cub scout theme for Nov
ember is "Adventure.- in His-
tory". and the program consist-
ed of stunts, veils, songs and
games. All of the scouts were
led by Mr Cnristie in a game
of marahmallows on a string.

Mrs. Louis Wright's den IV
presented a pantomime with
