pieces. An arrangement of white
gladioli and mums was reflect
ed in the mirror above the man-
tle.
Following the supper the bride
and groom presented their gifts
to their attendants.

Xmas Candles At
Club Meeting
Mrs, S. D. Rorem, program
leader, introduced Mrs. Thomas
\S atts of Austin, who demon-
strated the making of Christmas
candles at a meeting of the Lost
Pines Garden Club at the home
of Mrs. R. P. Perkins on Wed
nesday of last week. Serving as
co-hostess was Mrs. E. D. Cart-
wright.
During the business session
Mrs. Oren Eskew, president, pre-
sided and Mrs. W. C.
acted as secretary in the absence
of Mrs. B. A. Elzner Jr. Roll
call was answered with garden
reminders for December.
Refreshments consisting of
cake .squares, toasted pecans and
coffee were served to the guests
and members during the social
hour. Christmas decorations and
fall flowers were used at van-
tage points.

J. Griesenbeck, Mrs. W. L. May
nard. Mrs. J. V. Ash Jr., Mrs.
Manerson and Mrs. Thomas
