Arthur Stephenson of Dallas, and

The 4-H Club- throughout
Bastrop County held their an
nual Christmas party Friday
night, December 1J5.
They all met at the court
house at ii:.'50, from there they
went to the American Legion
Center where they exchanged
gift.-.
Refreshments, of sandwiches,
cookies and hot chocolate were
served.

The employees and their wives
of the Bastrop Coca-Cola Com-
pany held their annual Christ-
ma dinner party at the Victor-
ian Tearoom. TTutr.-day night.
Attractive arrangements of
fall flowers, were used in the
reception and dining rooms.
The menu consisted of tur
key and dressing, green beans,
cranberry alad, candied yams
in orange cups, hot rolls, mince
meat pie ami coffee.
The men received their Christ-
ma- bonus checks, which a-
mounted to five per cent of one
, months salary, multiplied by
the number of year.- they have
been with the company. Henry
Schuyler received a 20 year ser-
vice pin.
Those pre.-ent were Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Schuyler. Mr. and
Mr.-. Frank Wolfenberger and
Frances Ann, Mr. and Mrs. Ro-
bert Watson and Mrs. Harlyn
Wright.
