Circle Meeting
The YWM Circle of the First
B-ptist Church, met in the home
of Mr.-. C. G. Goddard, Tuesday
night of last week.
Mrs. I^aRue McLaurin was
program leader. The program
was about some of the first
Baptist Missionaries. Mrs. Her-
man Bryant opened the program
with prayer. The song, "To the
Work" was sung by the entire
group. Mrs. Robert Moore gave
a talk about Roger Williams,
Mrs. Bob Osborn Luther Rice,
Mrs. Herman Bryant Ann and
Adoniram Judson, Mrs. Koy
Kragh Lottie Moon.
Following the business meet
ing, refreshments were served
to the following members: Mrs.
Koy Kragh, Mrs. O. W. Sumer-
lin, Mrs. LaRue McLaurin, Mrs.
Dave Goddard Jr.. Mrs. Herman
Bryant, Mrs. Larry Turner, Mrs.
Robert Moore, Mr.-. J. W. May-
field. Mrs. Boh Osborn, Mrs.

Union Aid Bible
Class Last Week
Mrs. J. G. Lock was hostess
to members of the Union Aid
Bible Clas- and visitors at her
home Thursday afternoon of last
week.
Mrs. Fred Moore presided in
the absence of the president,
Mrs. J. G. Brvson. The meeting
opened with the repeating of
the Lord's prayer. Thoughts for
the day were given by each
member. The lesson in Mark
wa.- continued.
Plans were discussed and
I names were drawn for the ex
change of gifts by thi members
at the annual Christina.- party.
The party will be held at the
home of Mrs. Gus Keil, Thurs-
day, December 4.
The meeting closed with the
group repeating in unison th<

this past Friday night at the
Rex Kitchens ranch south of
Austin. The boys an<l their
four leaders were part of a
group of over 2C0 Scouts parti
cipating.
