lifelong resident of Cedar Creek,
died Friday, August 19, 19t 0
it the Bastrop Hospital.
He is survived by his widow;
three daughter-, Mrs. Otti* Fei
guson of Freeport, Mrs. Vernon
Schaefer of Bastrop and Mrs.
J. H. Arculeer of Alexander,,
Va..; a sister, Mrs. Mary Roberts
of Comanche; five grandchild
ren and four great grandchild-
ren.
Funeral services were held
Saturday at 4 p. m. at Cedar
Creek Methodist Church with
the Rev. Walter J. Cartwright
of Bastrop and the Rev. Gene
Denton Belk. Cedar Creek pas
tor, officiating.
Pall bearers were T. C. Watts,
Robert Martin, Dewey Turner,
Lovellt Yoast, John Mac Alex-
ander, and Andy Renick Alex-
ander. Burial was in the upper
Cedar Creek Cemetery under
the direction of Marrs Funeral
Hi.nn of Smithville.
In the death of Mr. Wamel,
tht Cedar Creek Community
lost one of its older citizens. He
