Farm problems are
subject at St.

, renting an additional 142 acres,
which classifies him as a
small farmer.
Mr. (Joertz .stated that it
seems as though Congress i.-,
faced with the farm problem
at each session and it seems
to be getting worse instead of
better.
In Mr. Schmidtzinsky's pro-
posal he said "There is a so-
lution to every problem and I
am confident there is a olu
tion to the farm problem if
'tily each will brush a ide sel
fish pride, prejudice, and have
love of (Jod, neighbor, and
country at heart."
Farmers are considered the
backbone of the nation, and
the more the better The
proh em is how to keep present
farmer on the farm, and cre-
ate a "Hack to the Farm",
niov. ment. Mr. Schmultzinsky
does not approve the present
farm programs, whereby large
farms get even larger and
unall farmers are curtailed to
such an extent they eventually
give up and leave.
Arrangement- for the pro-
gram were made by Mrs. Ar-
thur (ioertz, rural life chair-
man.
