dies at home
in Alum (leeek
Funeral service- for Joseph
Fielding Royston, H.'l, were held
from Marrs Funeral Home in
| Sinithville, Sunday, August 19,
at 4:00 p. m. with the Rev.
Sherwood Davis officiating.
Hurial was in the Claiborne
Cemetery in the Alum Creek
Pall bearers were R. C. Roys-
j ton and Jack Hancock of Smith-
ville, Henry Perkins, John Ma-
yes, Elbert Hoffman, E. E. Hol-
i lub arid Henry Haisler all of
Alum Creek and Jack Claiborne
of Kastrop.
Mr. Royston who was reared
and educated in Bastrop died
at his home at Alum Creek.
Survivors include two sis-
ter", Mis- Cady Roy-ton, with
whom he made his home, and
Mrs. J. J. Nicless of Sylvester;
three brothers, R. M. Royston
of An-tin, T. T. Royston of
Alum Creek and \\. D. Royston
of Houston.
