The four day course will be
centered around a thorough study
of coastal bermuda grass, and
will be taught by Phillip Nix, a
pasture specialist from the An-
culture Education department of
Texas A & M University.
Anyone interested in attending
the short course should write or
call superintendent of schools. P.
J. Dodson, or Gordon Rosanky,
vocational ag teacher in the Bas-
trop school.
An entry fee of $2.00 will be
charged. Pasture course certifi-
cates are to be presented to each
enrollee who attends all of the
four sessions.

year should be used as the basis
for figuring your medical expense
j deduction. Also, the medical bills,
you paid last year must be reduc-
| ed by whatever reimbursement
you received from hospital and
medical insurance plans.
Don't forget that only medical
expenses, except those for tax-
payers 65 or over, in excess of 3
percent of your adjusted irross
income are deductible. Further,
only medicine and druii costs in
excess of 1 per cent of adjusted
gross income can be Included with
your medical expenses if you are
under 65.
