formed the double ring ceremony.
Large baskets of white gladioli
and greenery were on each side
of the altar and two candelabra
held white lighted tap« rs.

pi|s organ, furnisiied the tradit-
ional wedding music.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride wore a floor length
gown of white satin. The dress
featured a bell skirt a chepel
train and a fitted bodice fashion-
ed with a round neckline and a
mock bolero of French imported
Alencon lace embroidered with
seed pearls and crystal beads and
with elbow length sleeves. A pill-
box of lace and pearls held her
fingertip veil of white illusion.
She wore elbow length w bite
gloves and carried a colonial bou-
quet of pink rosebuds, pink car-
nations and ivy edges with a
white lace ruffle.
Miss Julia Ann Oslx>rn of Bas-
trop was her maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Miss Cheryl
Lashley of Houston ;ind Miss Ca-
rol Caldwell of Bastrop, sister of
the bride. Junior bridesmaid was
Karen Light of Bastrop, tin
bride's cousin.
The attendants were attired in
street length sheath dresses f ish
ioned of royal blue velvet bodices
with round necklines and antique
white satin skirts. T h e junior
bridesmaid dress was of royal
blue velvet with a fitted bodice
and a full skirt. AH the attendants
wore circlets of blue net held . >
place by pillboxes of the ma'ch-
ing royal blue velvet, whit. ^!;p-
pers and white gloves. Each car-
ried a single long-stemmed pink
rose.
Otto II Schultz Jr of Smithville
was the hest man Groomsmen
j were William H Cook Jr and
John Edward Burleson of San An-
tonio Michael David Saunders of
Smithville, brother of the groom,
was the junior groomsman.
Ushers were Jerry Light and
Kenneth Laake of Bastrop.
The brici s mother wore a pow-
der blue sheath of silk .shantung
with a matching feather hat white
gloves and black accessor:, s The
groom s mother wore a turqaoi.se
blue sheath with a lac. IkxIicc
fitted jacket matching hat and
sh'ies and white gloves. Both
mothers wore white orchild cor-
sages.
Immediately following the wed-
ding ceremony a reception for
the couple was held in the Bas-
trop State Park Refectory. The
walk in front of the rock building
was lighted on each side by rows
of hurrieam lamps
The archways were decorated
with satin strips enhanced with
irriedscent sequins The bride s
bouquet and her attendants' flow
ers served as the centrepiece,
flanker by crystal candleholders
and white tapers The three-tiered
wedding acke was decorated with
pink sugar roses and topped w .th
three pink bells Pastel colored
minis were served from crystal
| containers, and the mock cham-
| pagne punch was served from a
! crystal punch service
