Tuesday evening, June 1, with
Mrs. lack Fast land, president,
presiding.
Rev. Mskt. Clnude Faust,
moderator, spoke about offering
Mass in the hollies of the com-
munity, during the weekdays, with
the families present, gathered
around the family table taking
part in the responses, and some
member of the family serving
as commentator, and server,
other families of the parish may
be invited if one wishes, he-
stated.
Mrs, \lbei1 Klaus, Clerical
Endowment Fund chairman, re-
ported a total of :j:'7 enrollments
during the past year.
Mrs. Joe Probst, community
affairs chairman, stated that
$173.00 was collected for the
community welfare fund. Another
collection will be held during
the month of July. $50.00 was
donated to the Cancer Drive.
A thank you note from Mrs.
Vernon Bartsch, newly elected
president of the Austin Diocesan
Council of Catholic Women,
thanking the society for sponsor-
ing a reception in her honor,
was read.
The Society will be reaffilia-
ted with the Confraternity of
Christian Mothers. Material
from the organization will be
read at the meeting in the future.

Phe St. Ann's Society will spon-
sor a Parish Day of Adoration
in honor of the Feast of the
Sacred Heart, June IS.
Other projects of the Society
will be sponsoring a Parish Fund
liaising project July 25, to be
held on the parish grounds, offer-
ing a Snack Supper, cake walk,
and bingo. Proceeds will be given
the Chiisto Rey Parish, Austin,
to help build a needed kitchen
for their parish plant. Mrs. Henry
Goertz, Mrs. Bernard Seidel,
Mrs. Sadie Goertz, and Mrs.
Mark Goertz were appointed
chairmen for the project. A Mass
and covered dish dinner will be
held In honor of a former parish-
ioner, Sister Mary Fudek, daugh-
ter of the late Philip and Hosa
(loertz, who will celebrate her
lUtth anniversary as a nun, and
three former teachers of Sacred
Heart School, Itockne, celebra-
ting their 50th anniversary, Sis-
ter Hildagardc, Sister Benedict,
and Sister Angela, will be held
during the summer months.
