Last week's issue of the Ralls
Banner closed the first year of
the paper under the manage-
ment of Editor A. C. Hyatt, and
he is well pleased with his first
year in our sister town. The
business men of Ralls all seem
to appreciate the fact that the
local paper is the best asset the
town can have, as nearly every
business firm is represented in
its Advertising columns. May the
Banner continue to prosper.

There is an epidemic of meas-
les in town, but luckily it seems
to be of a mild type and no one
is dangerously ill that we know
of. All the children of Mr.- and
Mrs. J. E. Miller are in bed with
it we hear, as are also the chil-
dren of Mr. and Mrs. Driver in
the west part of town. .
