April 15 Deadline
for Car Safety
Inspections
There is no connection be-
tween the purchase of automo-
bile license tags and the safety-
inspection of passenger vehicles
Executive Director G C. Morris
of the Higghway Safety Council
of Texas reminded motorists to-
day.
"One reported reason for the
delay of some motorists in hav-
ing their automobiles inspect-
ed this year "seems to be a mis-
understanding about new li-
cense plates and safety inspect- i
ion stickers being issued to- |
I gether," Morris said. "There is i
no connection whatsoever.'K |
Deadline for purchase of 1956
license plates is April 1. Morris
TTJOlnted out, and the inspection
deadline is April 15.
"It !s not necessary," he add-
ed. "to show any certificate of
inspection to secure license
plates."
Morris reported that the High-
way Safety Council's continuing
] check of authorized inspection
'stations indicated that inspect-
' ions had increased during the]
first two weeks of March but. 1
! he added, "any motorist who
waits until April for the safety
inspection will face a long
waiting line."

to "In Temptation". It has also
been called the "Peace and Joy"
Hymn.
Printed first in 1710, it is not
known when it was written.
There is general agreement that
it is one of the supreme hymns
of the world.
It lias gone to-the corners of
the earth with the English lan-

into virtually every language
there is.
