Hugh F. Keepers, director, has determined that for the
first five-year period the rule will be in effect there will
be no fiscal implications for state or local government
as a result of enforcing or administering the rule.
Mr Keepers also has determined that for each year
of the first five years the rule as proposed is in effect
the public benefit anticipated as a result of enforcing
the rule as proposed will be tO extend the useful life
of liquefied petroleum gas (LP-gas) containers by re-
quiring nameplates that will not deteriorate and be-
come detached from the containers. The anticipated
economic cost to individuals who are required to com-
ply with the rule as proposed will be $5 00 per con-
tainer.

The amendments are proposed under the Texas
Natural Resources Code, 113.051. which provides
the Railroad Commission of Texas with the authority
to promulgate and adopt rules relating to any and all
aspects of the LP gas industry that will protect or tend
to protect the health, welfare, and safety of the
general public

(c) Container nameplates shall be stamped or
etched with the following information in characters not
less than 5/32 inch high:

ican Society of Mechanical Engineer s indicating corn-

(2) the name and address of the manufacture;

The Railroad Commission of Texas proposes the repeal
of 9.41 and 9.62, concerning manufacturer's
nameplates and markings on American Society of
Mechanical Engineers (ASME) containers, respec-
tively
Hugh F. Keepers, director, has determined that for the
first five-year period the repeal will be in effect there
will be no fiscal implications for state or local govern-
ment as a result of the repeal
Mr. Keepers also has determined that for each year
of the first five years the repeal Is in effect there will
be no public benefit anticipated as a result of the
repeal There is no anticipated economic cost to in-
dividuals as a result of the repeal.
