INTRAORALS
Deltas, 'Ducks refuse opponents
by David Chilton
Highlighting a week of fine
action was a Friday League
showdown between Phil's and the
Malts which ended in a draw 13-
13. Phil's won on a penetration
edge of 4-3. Two Tuesday League
standouts, the Thunderducks and
the Deltas, still have not allowed
any scoring.
Thursday League
In the second week of Thursday
League action, Bill Wise's Flirtin*
With Disaster racked up their
second impressive victory, this
time over Ken Schever's Lifers, 38-
6. Clint Welch was the offensive
and defensive star for FWD as he
caught two touchdowns, returned
a punt for another, and intercepted
three passes. Quarterback Emery
Biro had another sterling
performance for Flirtin', as he
tossed five TDs, three of them to
Jay Goode, who also had a fine
game. Providing a fine rush on
defense for FWD was Bill Snoot.
The Lifer's only score came on a
Mike Prado pass to Dave
Vanderslice.
The other Thursday team,
David Powers' Brain Damage, was
idle.
In the other Thursday game,
Perry McConnell's Physiques won
their first game 13-6 over Tracy
Bouvette's el S.D. El S.D.'s only
score of the game came on
Bouvette's touchdown flip to Brian
Scott.
Friday League
The big news of the tough
Friday League was Tom Farris'
Phil's marginal victory over Jim
Donnell's Malts. Phil's scored the
first time they had the ball on a
Farris to Roger Quintero. Phil's
scored shortly thereafter as Rob
Jackson caught another Farris TD
pass, set up by James Thompson's
interception, to take a 13-0 lead.
The Malts fought back as
quarterback Jay Hebert found
Mark Hall for one score, then took
it in himself to tie the game up 13-
13. Phil's was able to get the
winning penetration, however,
when the Malts were called for
roughing the passer and Ferris hit
Quintero for a 20 yard gain.
In other Friday League action.
Ken Sill's Six Pack came from
behind to dump Fred Frantz'
Prematurely Balled, 27-6.
Prematurely Balled held a 6-0
halftime lead, but Six Pack came
back in the second half on the
strength of Bob Orr's two
touchdown passes, one to Sill and
the other to Keith Chappel.
Chappel himself threw a
touchdown pass to Greg Dugdale,
and Dirk Bauman and Eric
O'Keefe both had interceptions to
spark the victory.
Prematurely Balled's score came
on a Bob Ordemann pass to Norm
Goda.
The other Friday game featured
Karl Meier's Sons of 69ers trashing
Mark Brown's Split Ends 24-6.
Quarterback Greg Smith directed
the Sons of 69ers offense and fired
three TD passes, two to J. P.
Halvorsen and one to Doug
Mischlich, who made many
excellent catches throughout the
game.
Monday League
In Monday League action,
Wayne Peters' Go Navy had an
easy time with Alan Janiga's
Generic Football D, winning 33-6.
The Go Navy offense featured
quarterbacks J. D. Sitton and Tom
Peeler. Sitton ran for two
touchdowns and Peeler threw for
three more, one each to Jim
Seerden, Jason Gully and Victor
Gutzler.
Generic Football IPs only score
came on a Henry Bourne pass to
Kenny Kurtzman, as the GF II
record evened at 1-1.
Another Monday game featured
a close match with Kevin Greene's
Penetrators dropping one to Steve
Sheffield's Reckless Abandon, 28-
26. At halftime, the Penetrators led
19-8, but Reckless Abandon got
their act together in the second half
and came back for a victory.

The tuition gives students a lifetime membership so that
students may re-take the'entire program-6r any portion of it may

came on a punt blocked out of the
end zone for a safety. Chris Carrol

touchdown. In the second half,

touchdowns. Glenn Kim caught a
pair of Wagner's scoring
slingshots, while Greene and Jerry
Brown snagged one apiece.
In the other Monday game, Dan
Cocanougher's Whore Dogs edged
Dan Watkins' Lowriders, 6-0. The
only score the Whore Dogs needed
came on a Jeff Mischka pass to
Dave Barnes.
Tuesday League
In Tuesday League play, two
teams remained undefeated and
unscored upon. Dave Sebastian's
Deltas kept their record intact with
a 46-0 destruction of Nhan
Truong's Dial "F' for Fubar. The
Deltas played again with the
minimum of six players, but still
held the hapless Fubar to only one
penetration. Sebastian played his
first game at quarterback for the
Deltas and had a field day,
throwing seven touchdowns and
hitting every Delta with at least
one pass. Steve Connelly, Graham
Ullrich, and Terry Phillips all had
two TD's and Phillips added two
interceptions. Randy Gardell also
had a touchdown and Sebastian
added an interception on defense
to help bury Fubar. Dial "F" for
Fubar has now been outscored
134-0 in three games.
The other undefeated Tuesday
leaguers, Britt Smithson's
Thunderducks, rolled to a 20-0
victory over Asa Shinkawa's
DOA. Thunderduck quarterback
Penetrator John Cunyus bobbles ball to teammate Glenn Kim for late score as
recklessly abandoned Kevin Clark looks on. — C. Clay
Mike Kane threw three TD's,
bringing his season total to 10. Eric
Bavereis caught two of Kane's
scoring tosses and played
exceptionally all game. Doug
Gardner snagged the other TD
pass and added an interception on
defense.
In the other Tuesday League
game, Tito Alfoso's Easy Terms
raised their record to 2-1 with a 26-
0 victory over Alan McCree's
Milford High. Easy Terms scored
on its first possesion when John
Warrilow, who threw four TDs in
the game, hit James Roberts for
the touchdown. Mark Watson,
Tom Shirocky, and Rob llaria
were on the receiving end of
Warrilow's scoring strikes.
For Milford High, quarterback
Mark Bolam was a stalwart on
offense while McCree had two
interceptions to lead the defense.
