Sennet § eo&ea&e was* born on December 9, 1932 in
Oakwood, Texas, the eldest of two children to her parents
Tonola and Ocie Seacrease, both preceded her in death.
Gennell was educated in the Oakwood schools where she
graduated from high school.
After high school, she moved to San Antonio, Texas and
attended St Philips College and received her LVN
certification. Gennell retired from the Nix Hospital after
more than 25 years of service.
While attending college, Gennell met and married Lt. Col
Lonnie Thompson, and to this union was born two children,
Lonnie Jr. and Linda Thompson. She later united in marriage
with Rev. Ranee Foster who preceded her in death.
Gennell accepted Christ at an early age and continued
serving her Lord and Savior through her membership with
the King Solomon Baptist Church until her homegoing.
Senne£H leaves to cherish her loving memory two
children, Linda and Lonnell, a sister Evelyn Dixon of
Compton, California, a loving aunt and best friend Johnnie
M Alexander of San Antonio, Texas, an uncle Donald
Williams of Marshall, Texas, and a host of nephews, nieces,
other relatives and friends.
