Whereas, the Lord has summoned Bro. Leslie Price to end his
earthly pilgrimage, we humblyssubmit to His Holy Will* Brother
Price became a member of the Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday,
May 11, 1980, along with his wife, Sis. Annie B. Price, who pre-
ceded him in death February, 1982. Brother Price has been
in ill health for quite some time, and , only a loving God
can set the time for all suffering to end.
The pastor, Rev. Miller, and the members of the church, join
with our brothers and sisters of this- family in their bereave-
ment . Our prayers are with you. "We urge you to keep the faith
in God, realizing that there is no circumstance, situation or
condition, where God is not present. Although the reasons are
not evident, we know that His Will is' best, that we wilt under-
stand it better, bye and bye.
Be it resolved: that, the loved ones remaining will let go of
painful memories, sadness and grief, and let God bear them up.
Find comfort in the words .or Isaiah: ;'**
"the Lord is the everlasting Cod,• I
the creator of the ends of the earth,
He will not grow tired or weary,
And His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak,
So do noTfear, for I am with, you;
do not be lismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
(Isaiah 40: 28-29, 41s 10}
Be it resolved: that a copy of this resolution be placed in the
memorial file in memory of the deceased.
Humbly Submitted,
The Calvary Baptist Church
