Dear Felix:
I enjoyed meeting and talking with you Wednesday.
It was nice of you to stay overnight to have the talk with
me. Our conversation, was mutually beneficial for we had
an opportunity to discuss the station in greater detail and
to become better acquainted,
A lot of thought has been given to your offer, I
have discussed it at great length with my family. The y^ are
in favor of it, I am becoming more and more enthused about
it and can think of any number of things we can do to pro-
vide entertainment and cement Latin-American relations in
Houston. There is no end to the programs that can be
broadcast. Of course with good programs come listeners and
with listeners, more business.
I am writing to let you know that your offer as oat-
lined below is acceptable and that I am enthusiastic about
the future of the station. As I understand your offer, the
monetary arrangement will be:
|>400 per month, starting when construction permit
is granted.
§500 per month, starting when station goes on the
air for testing.
$600 per month and 5% per month on gross collec-
tions, starting when station is officially
on the air,
I understand that I am to be General Manager of the
station and will also be in charge of sales, Naturally, I
will assist the program department and other departments in
their work. Having had many years of announcing experience,
there may be times when I can be of assistance in that
department.
Your kindness in considering me for the position is
appreciated. You can be sure that I will do my best to
make your station a profitable operation. Thank you for
your kind offer and for staying over night to talk with me,
A letter from you indicating that I have outlined
the monetary arrangement correctly will be appreciated.
Very .truly yours,
OjLJst
