Recycle Christmas trees
Keep Bastrop County
Beautiful will sponsor the
first county-wide Christ-
mas tree recycling proj-
ect. Christmas trees will
be accepted at the City of
Bastrop Public Works site
at 1209 Linden St., south
of the Little League Fields
off Hwy. 95. All trees
must have tinsel, lights,
and ornaments removed.
Flocked trees cannot be
accepted. City crews will
chip the trees into mulch
which will be available to
anyone who wants it at no
charge.
