COMPANY This contract is administered locally and all claims are
handled by Ham Middlebrooks General Insurance Agency, 857 Butternut, Abilene,
Texas 79602.
COVERAGE This policy protects the insured at home, at school, or
while traveling 24 hours a day during the school year. Protection is in effect
during all interim vacation periods. Participation in all athletic activities
excluding intercollegiate sports is covered. Benefits are payable in addition
to any other coverage the student may have.
ELIGIBILITY All full-time students attending McMurry College are
eligible.
ACCIDENT OR ILLNESS BENEFITS Accidental bodily injury, illness,
or disease must occur or commence while the policy is in force. No death
benefit is available in this policy. For detailed description of benefits and cost
consult the brochure available in the College Business Office.
LOST AND FOUND
The lost and found is located at the information desk of the Campus Center.
Anyone finding an article on campus is expected to bring it to this office as
soon as possible in order to facilitate the return of the property to the rightful
owner. Claims are also made at this office.
OFFICE HOURS
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE HOURS Office hours for all administrative offices
are from 8:00 a. m. to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 to 5:00 p. m., Monday through
Friday. The Cashier at the Business Office will be open from 8:30 a. m. to
4:00 p. m., Monday through Friday. The Registrar's Office hours are from
8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m., Monday through Friday.
FACULTY OFFICE HOURS Full-time faculty members maintain regularly
scheduled office hours at which time they will be available for individual con-
ferences. These hours will be posted on the door of the faculty member's office.
Should you find it impossible to schedule conferences during a faculty member's
regular conference hours, you should feel free to make an appointment for
another time which is mutually convenient.
PLACEMENT SERVICE
McMurry College provides free placement services, located in the Place-
ment Office, to assist students in obtaining career employment. Information and
literature on employment opportunities are available on a self-service basis.
A listing of available part-time and full-time jobs is maintained in the
Placement Office(Campus Center).These are the result of employers who write or
call the College seeking persons to work.
Representatives of business, industry, and education visit the campus
regularly for interviews with graduating seniors and students who are available
for employm ent.
