The writer never missed u minute of
their sessions held and such a <|iiestion
was never even broached during the
convention. You continue: "which

sociation, does not represent the views
of the people it pretends to represent"
Wrong again. The writer happened to
be a charter member of the Texas body
to which you refer. It was organised
for professional clearing-house purpos-
es, nothing else. Someone "put over"
an alteration In the constitution which
permitted business men to join. The
business men ruined the organisation.
Meanwhile the Secretaries withdrew
from the body and orgaidsed their own
Commercial Executives Association,
which flourishes today and is doing
much for Texas.

On Tuesday at noon he arrived from
somewhere horseback, dismounted st
the rear of the Reporter office, hitched
his horse to the door knob and stepped
into the barlter shop. Buck had hardly
disappeared when the horse stuck his

the ages of 20 and 60.
Five times as many people are killed and injured
as have been killed or injured in any war of the lait
200 years.
There are constantly about 3,000,000 persons seri-
ously ill. Approximately 400 out of every 1,000
persons are sick every year.
More Americans died from influence and pneu-
monia during the epidemics of 1918, 1919 and
1920 than were killed in the European War.
Fifty-six thousand people were killed daring 1919
as a result of automobile accidents—an average of
more than 4,000 a month, or more than 1,000 a
week.
