PFC Snoopy the "much-bust-
ed" mascot of the 2nd Armored
Division's 1st Bn. lV5th Artil
lery has moved off Fort Hood.
The little dog who joined the
2nd AD unit during Exercise
Desert Strike last summer left
Fort Hood facing charges from
the post Military Police.
Snoopy was about to get a
ticket for running loose on post.
He now makes his home in
small but comfortable quarters
in Copperas Cove on the proper
ty of 1st Sgt. William H. Bea-
son of Hq. Battery.
For those wishing to visit
Snoopy's new address is 311
Elm Street. However he will
be making periodic trips to the
16th to visit his men. The bat
talion has allowed him to keep
his position as mascot.
Snoopy's military career has
been a spotty one at best. First
dubbed "Specialist Snoopy" he
was reduced to the rank of PFC
for barking during a ceremony.

•expects the classes for NCO's
would result in sharper ap

out the brigade.
Instruction will stress dress
