IN PETERSBURG TOURNEY

The girls' and' boys'-basketball
teams entered the Petersburg
grade school tournament. The
boys won over Floydada, Robert-
son and Lorenzo, and lost to Pet-
ersburg in the finals. "
The girls downed Floydada and
Robertson, but were defeated by
Lorenzo. , <
The next games will .be Monday
in the home gym with Cone. Eve-
ryone is invited. There will be no
admission charge.

I think exemptions are really a
good policy. It gives the students
a little hope and encourages them
to work a little harder so they
might get exempted in at least
one subject. Also, I think it helps
lessen the absentee list At least,
I keep hearing remarks from dif-
ferent people saying that they
aren't going to be absent a day
next semester.
