Fifth Grade Presents
Assembly Program
School Wednesday
Mrs. J. R. Benefield's fifth
grade presented the assembly
program last Wednesday for
grade school in the auditorium,
Barbara Brown announced the
numbering, which included: song
entitled, "We're Ready to Begin",
by the class, with Patsy Lawson
accompanying; poem by Judy
Benton; playlet, "February's
Birthday Cake", by Bonnie Jones,
Dianne Johnston, Janice Corne-
lius, Dale Hill, Kay Curry, Judy
Benton, Robert Donathan, Ron-
nie Welch, Sammy Caskey and
Leroy Ratheai. Piano solos were
given by Bonnie Jones, Kay Cur-
ry and Janice Cornelius.
A large number of mothers
are attending these excellent
programs presented each week
by the various classes.
WSCS Continues
Study Of Acts
Two chapters of the Book of
Acts is to be presented next
Monday at the Woman's Society
of Christian Service meeting
which is to follow the noom-day
covered dish luncheon.

a short business session Monday
afternoon, after which a contin-
uation of the progress of the

and daughter, Dolores Ogle, Mr.
and Mrs. W. L. Mann, Messrs.

Party Thursday Night
Mrs. J. R. Benefield's section
of the fifth grade were honorees
at a Valentine and Tacky party
Thursday night, Feb. 14, in the
school lunchroom. Hostesses for
the occasion were Mmes. Floyd
Hill, Dennis Taylor, Alviri Ogle,
FranjtrMoore*W. A. Brown, Sam
Davis, J. C'. Lamb, Elmo Moore
and Hubert Curry.
