the curtain went up and every
seat in the Chapel was taken. To

of this place departed this life

a husband six sons two daughters
and scores of grand children friends
and relatives to mourn her; she
had celebrated her 94th birthday;

forward to our installation ser-
vice on the first Sunday In May
followed by a big banquet Monday
night. High school notes Prof. Mc-
Cane has suffered from a dread-
ful attack of rheumatism since
October but he has been able to
hold his own in the school room.
Tuesday night the death angel visit-
ed the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bose
Brown and took their daughter
Pauline who was a student of Ex-
celsior high school and a member
of the 8th grade class. Messrs. Leon-
ard and Patterson of Mount En-
terprise were visitors at the Ex
celsior high last week. A large
number of students attended the
school closing at Clover Friday
night of which Prof. Albert Coss
is principal.
