Mrs. Grahsm. after a brief reference
to the death of her mother gave

teresting and helpful addresses de-
livered before the student body this
school year. Everyword was listened
to with the - deepest Interest. She
stressed the tnportance of respecting
authority and the great need of
strict disclnilne. She will carry with
her a manifestation of sympathy and
appreciation on part of the public
teachers end friends of this commun-
ity. Mrs. Oraham took the examina-
tion with more than (1CO0) sixteen
hundred applicants for certificates
to teach In the !js Angeles city

hundred and eleven successful appli-
cants who received certificates to
teach. She now serves on the fac-
