Virginia Normal State College Pe-

from The University of Chicago
June 1922 receiving the degree of
Ph. B. and afterwards taking up
aome work leading to the Master's
degree will return to the University
in June to continue work leading to
the Master degree. She will be ac-
companied by Beveral other teachers

population has so increased that It
becomes necessary for the board of
education to set aside a million dol-
lars for the necexsary addition to
the Morgan park high school upon
which work will begin in June. The

tion haa increased In recent years
from 25 families to more thn 3.-
000 persons. This has been brought
about greatly by the influence and
advanced preparations which have

race coming to the congested city.

last Saturday evening deserve
