class ever had she was a very bright
student a very promising young

remains of Miss Lewis Mitchell was

battle between the sisters and
brothers the winners to be given
a banquet by the loosing forces.
Each captain with a team of nine

Grand Prairie. Mr. John Wick
of Daiworth who has been ill for
several weeks died in the city of
Dallas Sunday evening at 2 P. M.;
th remains were shipped here
and was interred in the Line
Cemetery Monday evening; he
leaves a father four sisters and
three brothers. On the 26th inst
the wedding bells rang at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Pierce Hill
when their daughter. Miss Hill
married Mr. Edition Cole. After
a short bridal tour they will re-
turn to Grand Prairie where they
will make their future home.
Deacon W. L. Thomas organized
the B. Y. P. U. at the St. John
Baptist Church last Sunday with
a large enrollment'
