Fowler family was held Sunday
at MacKenzie Park in Lubbock
with 108 present. Mr. and Mrs.
Leslie Fowler of Lubbock were
elected president and secretary i

sented. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert
Fowler came the longest dis-
tance from Avondale, Colo.
Loreta Fowler, spent Sunday

School began at McAdoo this
Monday morning. Everything
seemed to be running smoothly
for the first day of school. Par-
ents and students met in the
auditorium at 9 o'clock for" as-
sembly. A new teacher, Leslie
Tonn, was introduced. A son&
was led by Mr. Tonn with pray-
er by Rev. Robert Knight. The
beginners this year are Micheal
Pope, Bill Berry, Sharon Fox,
Beverly Griffin, Pamela Rigsby,
Kandy Powers and Tanniel Cor-
nells. ^

a brother, Loyd Warrick, in Fort
Worth Friday and Saturday. A

Carrolton Sunday. Charlie, John
A., Doug and Pete, Allen were
able to attend the funeral.
John Mark and Ola Mae Edin-
burgh visited in Gustine with
relatives and returned a cousin,
Paul WayneMcKee, to his home
there.
Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Nickels re-
turned home Tuesday after vis-
iting in Fort Worth and Waco
with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Mal-
colm Edwards, Jana and Brent,
of Fort Worth accompanied them
on a trip to Roaring River. Mis-
souri, Eureaka Springs and Hot
Springs, Arkansas.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Swaringen

visited a part of the past two
weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Hiram
Rigsby, Mrs. Tutthill and Mr.
and Mrs. Jabez Rigsby, Pamela,

sas came Saturday for his fam-
ily. They all returned with him

We are glad to report Mrs. O.
