Fowler Reunion at
Mackenzie Sunday
The ninth annual Fowler
family reunion was held Sun-
day, August 26, at Mackenzie
State Park in Lubbock. A total
of lOS relatives and friends were
present to enjoy a bountiful
basket dinner.
Residents of four states were
present including Colorado, New
Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Fowler
were honored as the couple com-
ingthe longest distance -to— the
reunion.
Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Fowler of
Lubbock were elected president
and secretary for the 1963 re-
union which is scheduled to be
held the fourth Sunday in Aug.

Hillsboro High School and has
been employed by the Veterans
Administration in Waco.
The bridegroom is a graduate
of Lorenzo High School and at-
tended Texas Tech at Lubbock.
After a wedding tiip to Colo-
rado the couple, will make their
home in Lubbock where he is
employed at the Plains Cotton
Cooperative Association.
